Reggie Farrar (2006/07)  Reggie (formerly of Express Scripts) accepted a new position with Southwest Airlines as Senior HR Business Partner supporting one of the operations groups.  He will remain in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.

Lucia Clifton (2008/09)  Lucia accepted a new position as Marketing Director with the Federal Reserve Bank.  She is excited about the opportunity and the challenging but rewarding experience.

Katrina Shelby (2008/09)  Katrina was honored by Barnes Jewish West County Hospital as the Leader of the Year (2012).  It is one of the highest honors as an employee in the health system.   Katrina helped create an “open” culture at BJWCH where employees feel comfortable reporting incidents and errors, and know that they will get help in finding solutions.  She also led BJWCH successfully pass a Joint Commission survey and a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Conditions of Participation survey as a result of her calm and positive attitude.

Terri Morris (2008/09)  Terri was announced as one of 2013 Excellence in Nursing Finalist in the Management/Nurse Executives/Clinical Nurse Leader categories.   St. Louis Magazine put out the call for nominations and received more than 200 nominations for the awards contest.  The finalist were recognized at the Excellence in Nursing Awards Reception that took place on April 25 at the Kemp Auto Museum hosted by St. Louis Magazine and Chamberlain College of Nursing.

Phoong Tang (2009/10)  Phoong was selected to the 2013 St Louis Business Journals class of 40 under 40.  Phoong was chosen based on her community involvement, leadership skills and her intention to make a difference in business and the community.  Phoong along with the other classmates were recognized at a private winner’s reception and honored publicly at a recognition banquet that took place on February 7 at the Renaissance Grand Hotel.

Patricia Coleman (2009/2010) Pat was in the January/February edition of Black Enterprise Magazine in the ‘On The Move’ section.

Fontez Mark (2009/10)  Fontez has been promoted to Director, Human Resources, Golden Products.  Fontez joined Nestlé Purina in 2006 as Sr. Recruiting Specialist and was subsequently promoted to Manager, Campus Relations and Recruitment. In that role he was a key member of the team that implemented and improved the new college recruitment strategy at Nestlé Purina.

Darron Lowe (2010/11)  Darron joined the Consumer Credit Solutions Marketing & Channel Partnerships – Specialty Channel Team as a Market Growth and Development Consultant.  Darron is supporting the Brokerage and Retirement channel out of St. Louis.  Darron has 6+ years of experience with Wells Fargo serving as both a Project Manager and Market Growth and Development Consultant for the Lending and Banking Services Group within Wells Fargo Advisors.  Prior to Wells Fargo, Darron served for 15+ years in a rich variety of operational strategy and sales development roles where he excelled in strategic relationship development and implementation planning.  Darron brings an important understanding of the affluent client and sales teams that serve affluent clients.

Carol Sloane (2010/11)  Carol Sloane was promoted to Director of Client Experience at Wells Fargo Advisors. Carol has been with Solutions for over 5 years and is one of the “founding members” of that business.  In addition, Carol’s work in 2012 has provided WFAS with a greater understanding of what drives loyalty for mass market clients and has provided new processes and programs which most directly impact client satisfaction and loyalty.

Angela Tate (2011/12)  Angela was promoted to the Director of Clinical Services at Behavioral Health Response.  She was thrilled to say when she walked in her office she put the number 1 on the dry erase board signifying her first day and then took a moment to reflect on the beginning of her new journey!!!  Pretty powerful!!!

Tracey Johnson (2011/12)  Tracey was promoted to Sr. Brand Manager at Nestle Purina PetCare.  She brings a wealth of experience to her new role as Tracey has over 10 years of consumer products marketing experience working on such notable brands as Duncan Hines, Mrs. Paul’s, Friskies and Pro Plan.

Angela Fleming Brown (2011/12)  Angela was awarded the Stellar Performer in Health Care Award by the St. Louis American for 2013.  Angela was instrumental in the development and implementation of Gateway to Health, a $30 million a year program that ensures access to health care for uninsured people throughout the St. Louis region. Part of her job includes designing outreach initiatives. It was her very first award and she was super excited!  The awards ceremony was on April 26, 2013 at the Hilton Frontenac. 

Reena Hajat Carroll (2011/12)  Reena was featured in the August 2012 edition of Diversity Inc Magazine for work as Executive Director of the Diversity Awareness Partnership.   Reena’s work plays an integral role in shaping what she refers to as the strong “marriage” between corporations and their communities.  DAP host a variety of programs in St. Louis to educate the public on the current issues of race, religion, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity so all sectors are working together and invested in a meaningful way.

Otha Jones (2012/13)  Otha was promoted to Senior Vice President for Wells Fargo Advisors.

Roshelle Scott (2012/13)  Roshelle accepted a promotion to Director of Advertising and Brand Development for Famous Footwear (Brown Shoe).  She was very excited to start in her new role.

Gregory Scott (2012/13)  Gregory was promoted to Manager – Enterprise Databases for Laclede Gas.

Sugako Anderson (2012/13)  Sugako accepted a new position in the Trade Marketing department at Anheuser Busch InBev. Her new title is Manager Retail Trade. This new position will teach her statistical analysis.  She is really excited about the opportunity to expand her analytical skills.

Bonnie Woods (2012/13)  Bonnie has accepted the role as Director of Psychiatry for Barnes Jewish Hospital and will continue to serve as the DON for BJEC.  Bonnie stepped into her new role December 31, 2012.

Shannon McCall (2012/13)  Shannon was selected as a 2012 Champion of Diversity and Inclusion award recipient at Wells Fargo.  Stacy’s unwavering commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace and community sets an outstanding example for her team members and was clearly reflected in her winning this award.  Shannon received $1,000 T.O.P. dollars award, inclusion on the Recognition Wall and was honored at a recognition ceremony and reception.

Stacy Kemp-Jiles (2012/13)  Stacy was promoted to Director, Medical Management Operations.  Stacy joined Centene in February, 2010 as Manager, Medical Management Operations, bringing with her a strong background in Utilization and Case Management.  Since coming to Centene, Stacy has grown in responsibility embracing each new challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow in her role. Under Stacy’s leadership, the CORE unit will be challenged to establish itself as a unit that will house and excel at core competencies for the enterprise.

Ashish Tetali (2012/13)  Ashish was promoted to Vice President, Global Products and Solutions at MasterCard Worldwide.

Cynthia D. Williams (2012/13)  Cynthia D. Williams was promoted to Assistant Dean for Field Education and Community Partnerships at Washington University. Cynthia was also honored as a 2013 recipient of Washington University’s Gerry and Bob Virgil Ethic of Service Award.  This annual award is given to a select group of Washington University community members who exemplify a character of service and giving to the St. Louis region.

Nigel Blackhall (2012/13)  Nigel has been promoted to VP/Managing Director of the Midwest Region, at Nestle Purina PetCare.  Nigel has been recognized for his combination of excellent people leadership and business skills, and has driven a high level of performance and integration across several key customers over the past several years.

Rhonda Garrett (2012/13)  Rhonda was appointed by Mayor Francis Slay as the newest member of the City of St. Louis Workforce Investment Board (WIB) for the term ending June 30, 2014.  She also has been selected to the board of the Veteran’s Business Resource Center.  Rhonda is ready to get involved as she feels her involvement will be invaluable!

Ricky Castro-Kreutz (2012/13)  Ricky is a member of the Hispanic Retail 360 Retail Advisory Board.  Throughout the year, members are responsible for providing suggestions and feedback for content to be presented at Hispanic Retail 360, with the goal of staying true to retailers’ information needs.

Lakesha Butler (2012/13)  Lakesha received the Kimmel Leadership Award on April 23.  The Kimmel awards annually honor the late Carol Kimmel, a tireless volunteer and ardent Southern Illinois University Edwardsville supporter who dedicated her life to education.  Lakesha was selected based on their community service philosophies, degree of volunteer participation, and service and volunteer impact. Butler was nominated for her work with Ark of Safety Christian Church in St. Charles, Mo., Christian Women Walking in Victory and Girls Empowered in Math and Science (GEMS.)

Last but not least Tim Mack (2010/2011) had a hole-in-one on November 10, 2012.  It was registered with the National Hole-In-One Registry.  It happened on hole 2 at The Norman K Probstein Golf Course in Forest Park.  He used a 9 Iron on the 136 yard par 3 hole.  And yes there was a witness!
