Please join us in a round of applause for Fellows alum Delmar Turner (Keefe Group), Fellows alum Franklin DeVore (Energizer), Fellow Jason Harris (Save-A-Lot), Fellow Daniele McPherson (Centene).

Delmar Turner (2009/2010) has accepted an offer to become an Account Manager and will be relocating to Jacksonville Florida covering the areas of South Carolina and North Carolina.  Delmar is transitioning his extensive experience and leadership in the operational side of Centric Group’s business to Sales.

Jason Harris (2011/12) was recently promoted to Category Director-Dairy at Save-A-Lot.  Jason is a determined, experience, out-of-the-box thinker who brings extensive experience, great leadership skills and strong connections to his new role.

Danielle McPherson (2011/12) was selected as a 2012 Community Award in Exemplary Women’s Leadership recipient by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Metro St. Louis Chapter.  The award is presented to women who are committed to improving the lives of others and strengthening the St. Louis Community through diversity, business, civic and philanthropic initiatives.  Danielle will be honored at a Mother’s Day Brunch on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Crown Plaza Clayton Hotel in Clayton.

Franklin DeVore (2009/2010) and his wife were blessed with a healthy baby boy, Walker Keys DeVore, on February 28.  We have claimed baby Walker as a future Initiative Fellow!

Congratulations to Danielle, Delmar, Jason and Franklin on your achievements!  We salute you for the great things you are doing both professionally and personally.  Fellows Rock!!!!

Board of Directors Elects Steve Parksof Ameren as Board President

April 11, 2011—The Diversity Awareness Partnership (DAP) is proud to announce Steve Parks as President of its Board of Directors. 

Steve  joined the Diversity Awareness Partnership’s Board of Directors in 2006 just 5 years after its establishment. He has since devoted 3 years as Vice President and 4 years on the Development Committee where he has assisted with major fundraising and organizational initiatives.

A St. Louis native, Steve Parks is currently the Managing Supervisor of Diversity at Ameren. He received his M.B.A. from Fontbonne University and his B.S. in engineering management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Among many other extracurricular commitments, Steve Parks is a member of Cultural Leadership’s Board of Directors and serves on various community committees.

Congratulations to Steve on your promotion at Ameren and your board election as President – DAP!!!  Great accomplishments this month!!!
